So Randy and I decided to find something fun and close to us to do with the kids on the weekends we have them...we found the dunes are 10 min away and there are a ton of caves up by us within 20 min of our house. We loaded up got some flashlights and went to the Civil Defense Caves. It was a tons of fun. We only had one fall and that was right before I took the 2nd pic. Ambri tumbled off the rock that they are standing in front of. She managed to put her happy face on and was the leader the whole time. The cave is a lava tunnel and you can tell. It has a rippled floor from where it cooled and has dotted roof. So fun.
